Energy – Abstract by Kerry-Anne Knibbs – Hello, and thank you for taking a closer look!
 
I like to paint abstract backgrounds and full abstracts because to me they symbolise energy. Artworks are one of eight categories in the Feng Shui toolbox, used to attract positive energy and intentions.

Energy, the reason it is so hard to define, is because it’s an abstract notion. Sorry for the pun! In physics, the concept of ‘energy’ is really just a kind of shorthand, a tool to help balance the books. Energy is always converted into a mass which means there is no physical “essence”, and no such thing as “pure energy”. It is always carried by something. Sorry for the deep thoughts!I hope this description is giving you goose bumps which is good energy for you to have and we could say then we are breaking through to the metaphysics. Pardon the pun again, as that would be abstract theory again. This painting is a symbol and reminder that we are energy having a physical experience. Okay, I should have called this painting immortal, but same difference.
