Adult Term 3, Watercolour & Gouache

PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT THIS CLASS HAS BEEN REPLACED AS THE FEEDBACK WAS THE TIMEFRAME DID NOT SUIT FOR MANY IN THE PAST WATERCOLOUR CLASS AND CUSTOMERS WANTED A MINDFUL FOCUSED CLASS AT A SLIGHTLY LATER TIME. THE CLASS REPLACING THIS WILL HAVE SOME WATERCOLOUR PAINTING AS WELL AS SOME PAPER-BASED MIXED MEDIA. This is a new class with no current students so all newcomers are welcome to book now. Students must supply their own materials.

Course Outline: Watercolour & Gouache - The advantages of watercolour include it's vibrant and translucent nature, quick drying time, simple set up and clean up process, affordability, and versatility. This term is set to be fun and whimsical as we go from simple effects to negative space techniques adding in glimer and shine to our horses and unicorns. Yes, it's an equestrian theme with the addition of magical unicorns just for fun. This is a technical class for learning paper based painting but will be facilitaed in a fun and supportive way for beginners and intermediates. Beginners are welcome.

Kerry-Anne likes to discuss materials on the first night so no need to buy till after the first class. You can look at the materials in advance found on the website menu bar under MATERIALS. 

Materials: Students bring own materials, see the website menu bar under MATERIALS.

You will need, watercolour paints, Jane paints, multipurpose waterbased brushes, watercolour paint... just for the heads up. More about materials under HOME - MATERIALS & TERMS.
